Cemetery Boys

How I adored this book!  I am not the intended audience for Aiden Thomas’s book but still found myself being swept up in his tale of young people searching for the place they belong and fighting for the respect they deserve.  This book has a bit of everything: family, friendship, humor, and romance and I think anyone who reads this would like it.  This book is especially important for young trans people who may be struggling to find acceptance among their family and friends.  I highly recommend this book.

Little Fish

This book was on my radar because I was looking for something to meet a reading challenge prompt of: a novel by a Trans or non-binary author.   Thanks to Goodreads, I found this book and saw the amazing reviews it had.  It ended up being a tough, emotional, absorbing look at what it’s like to be Trans in the world today.  I would highly recommend it.

Documenting Light

I read this book because I am attending a meeting for librarians to discuss LGBTQ+ books and this one was on a list of fiction that features transgender characters.  I enjoyed this book and feel like it would be a great read for anyone who is transgender, exploring their identity, or cisgender and who wants to learn about the experiences of transgender people through the story of Grayson and Wyatt.
