Every year it seems like more and more holiday themed romance novels are being written and why not? The holidays are seen as a wonderous time, a time where people can fall in love in a matter of days and when the unexplained happens, we can chalk it up to the magic of the season. I am willing to overlook implausible scenarios in holiday romances as long as I’m enjoying the story,the characters are believable,and there are other aspects of the book that are likable. This is not a book I would typically read but when the assignment for my reading group requires a contemporary romantic suspense book, here we are. This wasn’t a bad book, but I felt the description was in accurate and in the end, it was meh.
